Genesis – Dilmah Centre for a Sustainable Future
This is where Dilmah Tea was first tasted, selected, packed and exported from.
In 2022, Our Founder dedicated the birthplace of Dilmah to incubate, mentor, and nurture other entrepreneurs like himself.
This is to Commemorate and Celebrate our Founder’s Legacy and the work that we will continue on his behalf.
Genesis will collaborate with scientists, centers for learning, agricultural and technology entrepreneurs, businesses, media and opinion leaders around the world in understanding and adapting nature-based solutions, sharing best practice and scaling up NbS trials in cooperation with Dilmah Conservation, the MJF Foundation and other agencies.
The Centre will use the resources of Dilmah in mentoring, encouraging and assisting entrepreneurs with dreams that echo Merrill J. Fernando’s wish to serve humanity through his business.
